Graeme Trudgill is the Chief Executive of the British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA), a position he has held since July 2023.

With over three decades of experience in the insurance industry, Graeme began his career in 1989, working with insurance brokers in Kent and Surrey. In 2001, he joined BIBA as Technical Services Manager and has since held various leadership roles, including Head of Corporate Affairs and Executive Director.

Throughout his tenure, Graeme has been instrumental in shaping BIBA's strategic direction, leading policy initiatives, and advocating for members' interests. He has a proven track record of successful lobbying efforts, such as the introduction of electronic policy certificates, which has saved the industry significant resources and reduced environmental impact.

A Chartered Insurance Practitioner and Fellow of the Chartered Insurance Institute, Graeme is also an experienced media spokesperson and author, recognised for his contributions to the insurance sector.

Under his leadership, BIBA continues to address key industry challenges, including regulatory reforms and talent development, while fostering innovation and collaboration within the insurance community.
